lowercase is life.
less is more. a recent behavioral adaption.
by eliminating the misuse of the uppercase, we reexamine the intent of each choice. uppercase being an intentful perference. it invites a philosophy of attentiveness. mulling over every detail. finding meaning and value in the smallest of the things. observing the entire microcosm of wonder and detail sitting under our noses in the smallest things in our lives.
im finding myself making every digital organizational component i have the pleasure of fixing my eyes upon into undercase. changing all folder and file names on my computer undercase all my youtube and spotify playlists undercase
its like when tattooed individuals go full blackout on their tats, but less dramatic. transforming the aesthetic of things completely. simplifying. wiping the slate clean.
1.7.25 i am finding that my daily experience is reaffirming my belief in this doctrine, or perhaps anti-doctrine rather. that the formality that is the grammatical structure of uppercasing is counterproductive. it creates friction in the flow of thought, the act of putting thoughts to physical fruition (paper or digitally). it is a useless formality that disrupts the experience of depositing thought flow onto physical mediums. it is an example of societal formality/norms structures that apply governance, beaureucratic slog to the daily experience. it is completely useless to me. unless i am writing a paper to present formally to the world. but for personal experience, the upper case letter is completely obsolete.
