small things inspire me.
in the same school of thought as the lowercase aesthetic, i believe downsizing and compact form factors to be the most creatively inspiring setting.
when things are small yet performing maximally beyond what is expected from its given size, it brings me great pleasure. tickles my brain in the right way.
thats why my pc is sfx sized. i want the most compact midi controller. the smallest travel guitar
portability is a big thing for me perhaps too. the fantasy that i am able to carry entire worlds of knowledge creative potential, on my back or in my hand.
I personally believe that a laptop in an iPad form factor would transform the personal computing space profoundly. Apply are just p[]ssy ass b[]tches Or maybe i’m just selfish and would like to own a product like that myself. it would be so sick.
perhaps the change wouldn’t be that dramatic, as tablet laptops do exist. but the elegance of removing the bulky hinge piece and simplifying to this single tablet would be chef’s kiss. to me it would be revolutionary. With the modern chip architecture, this should be feasible soon. the compute in a ipad should be susbtantive, enough to be a laptop. maybe thermals are the biggest engineering problem with this kind of tech idk
