life needs to be approached like jazz. a general structure or guidelines, but a creative flow from the soul. thoughts flowing like a continuum uninhibited. soulful expression expelled from the mind without recourse.
1.5.25 the more i life, the more i’ve come to realize the life is simply jazz. i continue to draw more useful analogies from jazz to life. just like in jazz, we must not chase perfection. in fact, we must embrace and sometimes even include ‘mistakes’ on purpose. that is where the nuance and beauty of life lies. truly, in jazz, it is the mistakes, the kinks and bruises, the unpredictability of jazz that gives it flavor. the same can perhaps be said about life to some degree.
